People are selfish, they take more than they give, and they make people’s lives a hell just for there own pleasure. But why do we do this? Why do men sleep with women just to prove he can, why do people drink until they cannot live without alcohol in their system only to show someone they can. Why do we have to prove ourselves to other people, people that don’t even care, who won’t even remember your name within the next 5 years, but you lose so much in those moments when you are trying to prove yourself. I lost someone close to me, and now I know that I need her to survive, I love her laugh, her smile, her kiss, her touch, her lips, her hips, her eyes, her hair. Everything about her makes me shiver and feel like an angel. I love her and now …

James looked round the empty dorm of his before letting himself stretch in his double bed after having a rough night of sleeping, though he knew he had just woken up and lived the experience and it couldn’t of been a dream. He lost Taylor last night; she found him and Lisi having sex. James was more embarrassed than anything at the moment. With some random thoughts passing through his mind he sighed and flung the sheets from his half naked bodice and got up and stumbled towards his bathroom and with one twist of his wrist he turned the shower on and removed the remaining clothing from his body which was his boxers. He sighed softly before he took a step into the shower and gasped as the hot water hit his cold body. He shivered before rubbing his body gently with the palms of his hand to warm himself up quickly. After getting warm he grabbed the shower gel from the side and cleaned himself with it. He sighed when he was clean and jumped from the shower turning it off on his way out and grabbed a nearby towel and wrapped it round his lower waist and made his way back into his bedroom.
James looked round his room and saw a few pieces of clothing from the previous night at Lisi, still soaking and wet from the storm last night. He sighed before picking them up and throwing them into the washing basketball by his door and letting a gentle sigh pass his lips before he opened his curtains and felt the warmth of the sun blaze through the window. He grinned softly as he felt the sun burn his eyes. He soon turned his back on the window and made his way towards his wardrobe and opened the double doors and looked inside, leaning on the door frame as he looked at the masses of clothing that were staring him in the face. After taking some time scanning his clothing he took out a simple outfit and threw it on his bed before closing the doors to his wardrobe and moved to his bed and looked at the clothing his had picked. Just a simple outfit, white tank top, grey baggy jogging pants, and his classic Nike high tops, he smiled at his choice before letting his towel fall from his waist and threw it into the washing basket and grabbed some underwear and changed into the selected clothing.
After spending some time changing James made his way into the bathroom once more and looked upon his wet hair before grabbing a side towel and rubbed his hair dry and grabbed the nearby gel and pressed some into the palm of his hand before running both hands together and gliding his fingers through his hair and spiked it gently before making the spikes all go in different directions from each other to look more casual and nicer for his style of hair. He smiled at his looks before rubbing a hand pass his face and rubbed the sleep from his eyes and walked back into his bedroom and grabbed his keys and money and stuck it into his right jogging pant pocket and sighed softly before looking to his bedside and there was a picture of Tay and James in the photo booth. He sighed before turning away from it and made his way through his dorm and out of the door, closing it silently and walked down the corridor letting his hand move into his pockets and shoulder hunch forward and head down as he made his way into the big wide world and the sun hit his bare skin and warmed his instantly.
James didn’t have a clue what he was going to get up to today, maybe basketball with the guys, hang out with the guys or talk to the guys. Well it was a guy day as Melody would kick his ass for doing this to Taylor, Lisi would be upset for betraying almost her best friend and well he couldn’t go and see Taylor as she would kill him and dance on him grave. So all the girls that meant something to him were out of the question so there was only the blokes left, and James promised himself he wouldn’t go partying tonight, as he didn’t want to get drunk, sleep with someone and have a bad hang-over, as that wasn’t the way to go with something like this. James sighed as he crossed the road and jogged at the end as he saw a car coming from his side, and I don’t think James wanted to get run over today though the girls listed above might want him to get some pain for what he has done, not just to Taylor but every other girl that loved or loves him. Feeling a vibrate in his pocket James shook his head from thinking and took the cell from his pockets and flipped it open … it was a text from Melody. Heya James, tis Mel here … you r such a jackass honestly, you told me you loved Taylor and you go and do that, man you fucked it up, but If you need to talk im at the café all day come round and see me … lyl Melody x James sighed and looked at the text.
James move slightly quicker as he put his cell back into his pocket, he could spend the day at the café, Melody wouldn’t mind and when she finished later tonight James could talk to her and spend the night with his bestest mate. He sighed and looked upon the café that Melody worked at before opening the door and moving into the warm little café that was located here. He looked round aimlessly at the café as he was looking for Melody but his eyes did not come across the human figure so he made his way to the back on the café out of the way and so stupid girls wouldn’t come and try hook up on him. He just needed to think to himself for a bit but honestly he wouldn’t mind some company. With a gentle sigh he lowered himself down on the seat and leaned back and looked at the ceiling with no expression and listened to the world evolve round him.

/ .dare to be different when everyone's trying to fit in. /
.x. A ringing tune woke up Harmony, half asleep the girl's fingers brushed over her phone, the motion causing it to smack on the floor. With a groan she bended over her bed, picked it up , her fist rubbing against on eof her gray blue eyes. Hello? Her voice was a bit raspy from a deep sleep. A spanish voice filled her ears, Alex had called. As she listened she woke up with a jolt. How could it be? Telling Alex she'd call him later she shut her cell and stumbled over to the bathroom. Shedding off her boxer and tank top she turned the knob to her shower and waited until the cold water turned really hot. Stepping into the curtain of aqua she let the flow of heat beat down on her back, the steam rising and fogging up the mirror. Her head swirled with regret and a million things she could ahve done differntly. Pouring shampoo on her curls she scrubbed, next she took her liquid soap and washed herself till she felt clean and wide awake. Turning off her shower she stepped out and wrapped herself in a towled with a horsey on it's front. Walking over to her closet Harmony finally decided on a black tank top. black half pants and a gray hoodie. Pulling her underwear, bra and clothing on she placed her gray Audio on and walked once more to the bathroom. After brushing her teeth, putting on her black eyeliner and mascara she let out a puff of breath. Good Lord, now to confront her forest of curls. Picking up the brush with shaky fingers she started the process of untangling the wet mass, and suceeded. Hurrying out the door she forgot to lock the door and left it slightly ajar.
.x. Sunshine streamed through a thick curtain of darkening clouds. Soon enough the clouds blocked the sun’s rays from passing through. Harmony looked up; maybe she would just walk instead of drive she thought, as she looked at her black Ferrari. Urging her legs to move forward she tried to stop her trembling. A sigh escaped her closed lips, her hands tucked neatly in her gray hoodie’s pockets. The soft thudding of her feet hitting against the concrete sidewalk she maneuvered out of the grand courtyard and towards the café. Harmony’s mind drifted away to her own world, soon enough the memories of her time in middle school game along, as did high school memories. Rodrigo had always been there ever since seventh grade and now he was gone? Alex had called saying the some how Rodrigo had gotten deported back to Peru. The only people that knew he was illegal were his closest friends, Alex, other Alex, Esha, Chandra, Bryan and Robert, Harmony included. So what had happened, how the hell had the Immigration officers found him and his family? Tears started flowing freely down from her blue gray eyes, her eyeliner slightly running down her cheeks. That was embarrassing, crying in the middle of campus. But to her luck the clouds parted and a downpour of rain fell from the sky, soaking everything below in just minutes. Pulling up her hoodie was useless, she was already soaking wet, so she put it down again and continued walking slowly. Atleast now no one would see her tears unless they looked closely.
.x. Eyes scanned the café, it was practically empty, then she looked at herself; no way would she go in there dripping water. The rain had slowed down a bit, but it was still going strong. Gently her hands took the cloth and twisted it ‘dry’, now she wasn’t dripping but she was still soaked. Doing the same motion she ringed out her curls and walked in. Going up to the counter where the cookies, brownies and other delicacies lay on display she remembered she had forgotten every thing except her keys. She wanted to kill herself. But the rain had not lightened anymore, and she was not risking going back outside. A sudden chill worked its way up her spine, the air conditioner was on, she was soaked, gosh today was Harmony’s lucky day. Eyeing the food one last time she started to tremble, not wanting to be seen she walked to a place where almost no one ever sat, a place quietly comfortable. She saw a boy about her age, he seemed to be having a tough time as well. A managed a small smile as she looked at him and walked passed him, sitting at a table behind his. Vibrating her phone started to ring with the chorus of Meant to live (by switchfoot), hurriedly she picked it up. ‘Hello?’ It was Alex, again. Hey sis, all we know so far is that the family is together. My dad got him on his cell, ya know it roams so we got him in Peru, but other than that we can’t reach him anymore and that’s all we know. “Oh, but Alex, I never said sorry, that’s the thing. You know me and him had a sort of an argument, but…. I never thought he would leave before I said sorry. Alex keep trying alright? Please call me again with news, good…. or bad. Harmony spoke all this in Spanish. Si Senorita. Alex joked then hung up. Harmony looked around; she had been quiet enough not to disturb anyone. But then again not everybody was Brazilian around here and spoke Spanish. That was just the way thing were around here. Not all Americans liked a Latin person, which was just a cold hard true fact. But of course there were people that just adored just about everyone, no matter what the race. Every was different; she couldn’t blame America for deporting back her friend back to a place he thought was hell. Sitting in control her chair Harmony trembled, her teeth wanting to clack together, but she held firm trying to keep herself under one. When the rain stopped she would go back to her dorm. A sneeze blew out of her. It wasn’t loud, but Harmony was cold. She didn’t think it was possible to get any colder. Looking at the coffee pots she yearned for a cup, but her stupidity had gotten the better of her this time. Still trembling she fumbled with her wrist bracelets. Black leather ran from the base of her hand with her wrist to about three inches up. Of course she didn’t wear the pair of leather for any reason. Scars from the past from something wanting to comeback, the bracelets felt like chains holding her down and keeping her backing from living.
